I had a spotless room with exceptionally comfortable bed and central heating and a work desk. The staff was accommodating, amiable, and everything was great. Location: the hotel was right by a beautiful island that is well worth staying overnight on, the center of the old village on Flatey, in the very heart of Breiðafjörður and Flatey on a day-trip from Stykkisholmur.

The hotel offers a lot of food that was outstanding. It has elegant and large rooms to offer with amazing views of the island as well as a sofa.

This hotel was a delightful surprise! Firstly, the value for money was excellent considering the remote location. The prices, although a bit higher than average, were justified by the unique experience of staying on a small island. The attention to detail in the hotel's antique furnishings added charm to the cozy rooms. I particularly loved having a sofa to sit on and relax. The breakfast included in our room rate was delicious and perfectly set us up for the day exploring the island.

The rooms may have been small, but they were beautifully decorated in a style that complemented the location perfectly. The absence of Wi-Fi was a bonus, as it allowed me to fully immerse myself in the natural beauty of Flatey Island. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ensuring that the hotel was spotlessly clean. The food at the restaurant was the best I had during my trip to Iceland. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I would highly recommend this hotel for a truly enchanting stay on Flatey Island.

Great complimentary Easter Eggs & Good hot water showers. The location was fantastic and very close to the charming town center. The scenery was breathtaking!
